Car Show

I’m in a local photography group but we have members from all over the country also. Someone in the group posted that there would be a car show (Cruisin The Bluff) on Saturday. I woke up to some nice cool but foggy weather….I was counting on a little sun for my pics. As I drove over the Calcasieu Bridge going into Moss Bluff, I saw some wonderful views of fog hovering over the water. I made a detour and got a couple of shots at the boat launch then I headed to the car show. There were lots of amazing old cars and trucks. I love to take pics of the classics. They just don’t make everyday vehicles like they use to. I’m sure some people thought…who is this guy with the fancy camera? I got some great photos but oh how I wish no one was in the frame or the lawn chairs, water bottles…etc… were not in my shot but it’s a car show, not a magazine shoot. I looked up to see if the car group had a facebook page and they did, so I joined to share my pics with them. I got a lot of love on my pics so that gave me a warm fuzzy feeling deep inside. My editing style is probably a little different than some of our local photographers. Sometimes I go for a look that is realistic but more often my style leans towards an artistic impression. I’m not sure if anyone reads these blogs but I will continue to do them for now………..
