Laziness

Laziness…that’s about the only excuse that I can think of to not keep my website up to date. I just realized that it has been since July that I have done a blog. Now I know that hardly anyone reads the blogs and my pictures are mainly viewed on my personal Facebook page which is private. I am clearly terrible at marketing myself but what am I really marketing when I take pictures as an expression of art and not as a means of making a living? I have stayed active shooting and I posted a “Photo Dump” in my gallery just now. I bought a Sony 200-600mm lens/1.4 teleconverter not too long ago and I have to admit…it’s a lot of fun to be able to capture something so far away. I have been shooting some wildlife but it takes, patience, skill and luck to get some banger shots. At the end of the day you do end up with a bunch of so-so pics and missed focus ones (birds in flight). In the future I want to shoot some sporting events….football, soccer, boxing, racing….
